On Tuesday, April 3rd, Ms. Rossi conducted the first solo/ensemble contest held at Highland Park Middle School. Students from Philharmonic and Honors Orchestra performed in front of three judges including Ms. Peggy Tucker (former Head of Orchestra at Highland Park High School) and Ms. Tara Cesario (current Head of Orchestra at Highland Park High School). Students played their solo pieces as well as in ensembles.
The contest provides Orchestra students the opportunity to perform and be evaluated by outside judges and clinicians.
