After an all day clinic and rehearsal, HPMS Raider Orchestra students performed their Region XX Final Performance on Saturday, December 1st at Nimitz High School to the applause of proud parents, families, teachers, mentors, and musicians in the audience.
Students in Concert Orchestra performed Gary Fagan’s Appalachian Celebration, Bob Lipton’s Cannon Power and Kirt N. Mosier’s Storm the Castle. Students in Philharmonic Orchestra performed Susan Day’s Murphy’s Jig and Russian Fantasy and So Far Away arranged by Sean O’Loughlin.
We would also like to thank Central Market for generously providing lunch for our students, Ms. Sarah Willson, our Orchestra Director for assisting our students on both days of rehearsal, and our amazing families for their support!
We are immensely proud of these students for their hard work, commitment and dedication, and look forward to All Region next year in 2019!
