On Monday, March 26th, the annual Highlander Festival brought 6th grade orchestra, 6th grade band, middle school band and orchestra, and high school band and orchestras at Highland Park High School to display our fine arts department at its best.
Conducted by our Assistant Orchestra Director, Mr. Ben Mitchell, Honor and Philharmonic Orchestras moved the audience in attendance with their rendition of Ian Edlund’s The Black Knight. Ms. Sarah Willson conducted 6th grade orchestra who played Carold Nunez’s Apache.
